About Cowichan Brain Injury Society

At Cowichan Brain Injury Society (CBIS), “Let’s Connect” is a place where everyone can be themselves.

Cowichan Men's Shed and Cowichan She Shed are Community Integration programs for Cowichan Brain Injury Society (CBIS). Participants are any female and male, over 19 in the Cowichan area, to come together to enjoy hobbies and other activities like drumming and singing, teach each other skill development for making knitting crafts like a brain beanie, or woodworking projects like coasters and bird houses.

Sale proceeds help CBIS provide programs and services that improve the lives of those with stroke, concussion, and brain injury. These sales directly support essential programs, ensuring survivors receive the care they need to rebuild their lives.
